N.B. In the Registry, 1978 Continental Sedans (82) and Continental Coupes (81) with the 460 V-8 Engine (A) have a necessary change in the listing. The A code in the VIN has been replaced with the letter x. The car's description will show the correct engine. This is because 1968 and 1978 VINs are duplicated for 81/82 cars with A-code engines.
Searching one year at a time gives the clearest results. You can choose more than one year with "Multiselect". The assembly plant name filter is the next level, it opens to series, body style, and trim level.
This page shows the last 500 cars added, starting with the most recent. Use the search engine filters to define what you want to see. The high ID number is how many cars are here. It will return a maximum of 2,000 cars regardless of search criteria so don't ask for too many years at once.
1950-1957 and 1959 Identification Advice: 1950-1957 Lincolns are not identifiable from the VIN alone, for example 57WA5001L. The "Body Style" code from the data plate must be known to identify the series and body type. For the 1959 Lincolns, the A, B, or C in the VIN identifies the series (Lincoln, Premiere, Continental) but not the body type. So in cases of vague descriptions, we have to settle for "Unknown" in the series and/or body type data.
