A notice was published in the June 20, 1962 edition of Newsday Nassau County. It said that this 1954 Lincoln had been repossessed from Bruce Loring by order of Bankers Commercial Corp. The amount due was $453.60. It was to be sold at auction on January 31, 1962 at 4190 Hempstead Turnpike, Bethpage, New York. UPDATE November 2021, it exists and was for sale in Miami, Florida. The newspaper post shows the VIN with a common error, substituting "4" for the correct "H" which is at the end of all 1954 Lincoln VINs. (picture added, Status changed to Exists)
